1. Start with an Egg Shape

 Firstly, I want to apologize in advance for the weirdness of the lines on this step... it's a long story. So now start off by drawing a circle for the head and adding the facial guidelines. Then draw two circles for the body and create guidelines for the arms, paws, foot, and tail.

 The first thing you will do is make a large circle for the head of the kitten. You will then draw an egg shape that will be for the body. Add the facial guidelines and then move to step two.

STEP 1.

 Baby Yoshi consists of a few circles to complete its' final form. Start with a head shape, another circle for the snout, the body shape, and then draw two shapes for the feet.

STEP 2.

 Now you will start sketching out the actual shape of the head, and nose like you see here, and notice how the smile is incorporated with the face design. don't forget to draw in the chubby cheek.

STEP 3.

 Draw out the arms, and chunky hands, and then draw out the shape of Yoshi's torso which sort of looks like a tear drop.

STEP 4.

 For your last drawing step, all you need to do is draw out the bumpy cheek, and then draw out the large buggy eyes, color in some pupils, and then draw out the shoes that Yoshi is known for wearing. Don't forget Yoshi's tail. Also, add the nostril holes, and the detailing on the bottom of the shoe. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

STEP 5.

 When you are all done, Baby Yoshi should look like the one you see here. Color him in whatever shade you like, and then that's it.

STEP 1.

 Start this first step to drawing Victoria Justice by drawing a circle, this will be for her head. The size of the shape should be big enough to sketch out a face. If you want a larger portrait, draw a larger shape. Add the facial guides as well before moving along.

STEP 2.

 Okay, instead of sketching out the eyes, I want you to first sketch out the shape of her nose in a 3/4 angle. Use a light stroke when drawing the nose because the nose is a feature that shouldn't have bold lines.

STEP 3.

 Using a nice light stroke, begin sketching out her eyebrows. The lining should flow in one motion, and when that is done you can sketch the shapes of her eyes. The lid lining should be bolder and thicker giving her the appearance of having mascara or liner on. Lastly, sketch in the eyelashes and then move to step four.

STEP 4.

 Draw the bottom lid lines to finish the shaping of her eyes. When that is done you can sketch in the eyeballs, color in the pupils, add some shading on the eye, and then sketch in her lashes. You will also lightly add some under eye creases too for a puffy look.

STEP 5.

 This step is easy because all you have to do is sketch out the mouth and or lips. She is always smiling with an open smile so the later step will actually guide you to adding in her teeth.

STEP 6.

 Okay, to make things as simple as possible, I want you to simply draw a single line that will outline the bottoms of her top row of teeth. When you're done, lightly sketch in some smile or frown lines to define the cheeks.

STEP 7.

 Only two more steps to go. Sketch out the shape or structure of her face like so, and then sketch in that one line which will be for her straight hairstyle. The hair is going to frame her face which also makes drawing Victoria Justice simple.

STEP 8.

 One more step after this one guys. All you have to do now is sketch out her entire hairstyle which has a lot of wavy and body. The outer lining should have slopes and folds to add realism and body. Draw in her neck, and when you're done move along to the last drawing step.

STEP 9.

 All you have to do here is sketch in the detailing and definition to her hairstyle. This is just a series of strand lines that will add texture and style. Erase any visible guides that you drew in step one.

STEP 10.

 Look how pretty she looks when you are all done. Now you can go ahead and color the portrait in, or leave her face as a sketch. Thanks for having fun with me as we learned how to draw Victoria Justice.

How to Draw a Chibi Vampire

STEP 1.

 For the first step, we'll lay down the foundation with sort of a rounded rectangle for the head and some lines for positioning the body. Now, keep in mind when you are doing this, chibis are insanely out of proportion to normal humans. For this picture, Vikki is only a head and a half high. The structure lines are not entirely necessary if you don't want to use them.

STEP 2.

 Now, we simply flesh out the body and get the outline of the eyes and the mouth. (Chibis usually don't have noses or they are represented with a little bit of shading.)

STEP 3.

 Here we get in the details in the face with her exaggerated slit eyes and the tee-shirt. Be sure to make the shirt fabric separate from her body. When she is pulling her arms in like this, the shirt will tend to stay to its original shape so the sleeves will stick out a little.

STEP 4.

 In this step, we'll give our character some hair (which makes her look LOADS better,) add some cute little wings, a couple of cat-like tear ducts, and eyelashes to get that feminine touch. A note for the people out there who DON'T study bat wings in their spare time, (I guess I'm one of the few who DO.) they are very much like another set of arms with elongated fingers and webbing. Hope that little tidbit helps.

STEP 5.

 Now all that is left is a little detail on the hands, her studded bracelets, the vampire skull logo on her shirt, and the wing webbing. For the bracelets, since they are a little hard to see, you just draw the band, put a little point at each end, and draw x's for the individual studs facing you.

STEP 6.

 Draw a circle for chibi Mario's head and then add facial guidelines. Next draw a small neck line and attach it to another circle which is going to be for the body of chibi Mario. Lastly draw the arms, and leg lines.

STEP 2.

 Now the first thing you will do here is draw out the shape of chibi Mario's face. You will then draw out the lid line for his hat and then draw the eye shapes using the facial guidelines. Next draw the shape of his big Italian nose and then his bushy mustache. Draw his ear and then some of his hair in the back.

STEP 3.

 Draw out the rest of chibi Mario's hat and then draw the emblem in the front that has the initial "M". Next draw out the arms and then the hands that are in gloves. You will also start the lining for the legs too and add some detailing to the gloves.

STEP 4.

 Here is your last drawing step and all you have to do is finish drawing out the body of chibi Mario and then add the buttons for his trousers. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and move to the next step to see what your chibi should come out looking like.
